The story of Hornet Steel Buildings began with a vision—one that took shape in 2012 after years of planning and experience. At a long-standing steel manufacturing plant on South Elm Street in Adel, Georgia, Britt Mainor and Beau Daniel Sinclair recognized an opportunity to build something meaningful and lasting. Britt brought extensive expertise in metal building design and detailing, while Beau Daniel contributed more than a decade of experience in the steel components industry. Together, they combined their knowledge, values, and work ethic to form what would become Hornet Steel Buildings.

As the company grew, so did its reputation. From commercial facilities and agricultural structures to aircraft hangars and family barns, Hornet Steel Buildings became known for quality craftsmanship, dependable service, and structural integrity. Each project represented more than a building—it reflected a commitment to the people and communities we serve.

In 2024, Hornet Steel Buildings entered a new chapter. Following Britt’s retirement, his sons, Blake and Brandon, stepped into ownership alongside Beau Daniel to continue the legacy their father helped create. Guided by the same dedication, integrity, and hands-on leadership instilled from the beginning, they remain focused on growing the business while staying true to its core values.

Today, Hornet Steel Buildings is stronger and more capable than ever. Our operations include a full sales team, an in-house pre-engineered metal building design and detailing department, and a complete structural steel fabrication facility. In 2020, we further expanded with the addition of Quality Panels and Trim, our own steel components plant, allowing us to deliver panels, trim, and cold-formed materials with greater efficiency, quality, and control.
